Causes

There is no one single factor that causes Fibromyalgia Depression. The pain associated with everyday tasks such as getting out of bed, dressing and walking can cause fibromyalgia depression to increase.  If you are dealing with FMS, you may also have to cope with the stress associated with being more dependent on family, friends, restrictions on your lifestyle and job, reduced energy levels or poor body image. All of these things can lead to anxiety, anger, frustration and  cause fibromyalgia depression to become even worse.
Possible CAUSES of FIBROMYALGIA DEPRESSION?
External conditions and factors, environmental factors, and internal conditions all contribute to the cause of fibromyalgia depressionChronic pain, a chronic or life-threatening illness, living with a depressed or ill person, grief and loss, divorce,  financial problems, medications, genetics, female hormone imbalance, thyroid conditions, gender and viral infections, poverty and abuse are some of the possible causes of fibromyalgia depression symptoms.

What Is The Cause Of Fibromyalgia Depression?
There are many types of depression, but regardless of the type, the cause of depression is often found to be changes in brain chemistry. Research data indicates that patients suffering from depression have imbalances of two particular brain chemical neurotransmitters, Serotonin and Norepinephrine.  The interactive pathways of these  neurotransmitters becomes disrupted, resulting in the Hypothalamus, the control center, to become dysfunctional.  Serotonin deficiency in depression often causes sleep disorders, irritability and anxiety.  Norepinephrine deficiency contributes to the fatigue and depressed moods of depression patients.
